Can you really ditch the nail salon for press on nails?!

Press on nails often get a bad rep as they can be considered boring, childish and poor quality. However they have come a long way from the flimsy, low quality ones that you tend to get from your local drugstore making them a great alternative to the nail salon.

With the rising costs of basically everything, people are reevaluating their priorities and beauty treatments such as getting your nails done, are often the first things to go as they're not considered as essential.

For those of us who deem getting our nails done as practically non negotiable, custom press on nails are a great compromise. If applied properly, you wouldn't know the difference. I get complimented on my nails all the time and when I tell people they're press on nails, they're always shocked and intrigued to find out more.

In addition to saving money, convenience and having more time is also something else people are looking for. As I get older, I value my time so much more and convenience is everything to me. If need be, I may pay a bit more just for that convenience. Funnily enough, wearing press on nails provides me with that convenience but at a lower cost! With press on nails being cheaper than going to the nail salon, and being able to reuse them, I find that I'm saving money but still having the convenience of doing my nails on my schedule in under 20 minutes.

Press on nails are also perfect for those whose job or lifestyle doesn't allow them to get their nails done. As someone who has worked in hospitals, this is a struggle I've had to deal with. I hated not being able to get my nails done and once I started wearing custom press on nails, I never looked back. It no longer bothered me that my job stopped me from having cute nails because whenever I needed my nails done, press on nails were there! My only complaint was that I hadn't started wearing them earlier! 😅

This isn't to diss nail salons. Nail salons still have their place and nail techs are amazing! I have nothing against them at all and love what they do. It's just that not everyone has the luxury of money or time to visit them regularly but still want salon quality nails and custom reusable press on nails provides them with the opportunity to do so and can help to spread out the cost and sometimes inconvenience of salon appointments needed. Nobody is saying that it's one or the other. But for those whose jobs or lifestyles means getting their nails done isn't possible or practical, press on nails are a great nail salon alternative!
